Oldham County Schools are Hiring! There are several positions, both classified and certified for which the school district is currently hiring.  Please see the OC Job Board (https://www.applitrack.com/oldham/onlineapp/) to apply! Oldham County Schools is a GREAT place to work!

 Car Rider Concerns: To ensure we keep the car rider line moving smoothly and safely, please do not get out of your vehicle to buckle or unbuckle your child.  Please practice those skills so your child can do them independently and efficiently.  Also, please be sure to pull all the way forward to the corner if you're the first car picking up/dropping off as the line moves forward.  In addition, please be sure your car seats are set up so your student(s) can get out on the passenger side.  When students use the driver side of the vehicle, it increases the chance for someone to be seriously injured by other drivers.  Thank you for following these procedures to help the car rider line be safe and efficient!

Library News: Camden Station will be hosting author Shannon Stocker on November 16! She is the author of many books for children including Listen: How Evelyn Glennie, A Deaf Girl, Changed Percussion. Grade Level Musical Performance Dates 2022-2023

Mark your calendars for this year's musicals for all Camden students! For each evening performance, students will need to be at the school at 6:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.
2nd/3rd grade: Tuesday, November 29
4th/5th grade: Tuesday, March 14
K/1st grade: Tuesday, April 18

Do you know a Camden staff member who went above and beyond for your student? We want your input as to who is going out of their way to provide exceptional opportunities for your child!  It could be office staff, bus drivers, custodial staff or instructional staff.  Provide details about one of “Camden’s Soaring Eagles” and we will anonymously share it with everyone!  Email your thoughts to dana.corson@oldham.kyschools.us.  

From the Cafeteria: It is important for all families who think they may be eligible to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application that is now open https://www.oldham.kyschools.us/Content2/free-reduced-price-school-meals-information The information collected from the application contributes to funding for other district programs and to help families qualify for fee waivers along with college and testing fee discounts.

 Students and staff may create an account at MySchoolBucks https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain.action?clientKey=&requestAction=home. MySchoolBucks does charge a service charge for depositing money. School Food Service does not receive any of the money that they charge. Cash and checks are also accepted at the point of sale. Please see the price list below.

 Menu information for each school will be located at https://schools.mealviewer.com/district/OldhamCountySchools,KY . There are ongoing production and supply issues with many of our vendors. The menus are subject to change due to availability of products, but we will do our best to keep the menus updated to the best of our ability.

Dragon Madness: Please see the attached flyer for more information about SOHS Dragon Madness on November 10th.

 From the PTO:   

Spirit Wear: The spirit wear store will be opening again in the next week for the winter and all orders will be in in-time for Christmas!  Watch your folders for further information!

 Skate Night: Our first skate night of the year will be 11/14!  The PTO is able to cover the cost of admission for every child thanks to your generous donations and the only cost to you will be skate rental if you need it!  Looking forward to seeing everyone!

 Bulletin Boards: Looking for help to decorate our two bulletin boards for November!  Please reach out to camdenstationpto@gmail.com or via Facebook if interested!  This can be done in your own time and is a great way to help out!

 Winter Glow Event: We will be having a glow event in February and are looking for someone to head this up with a committee.  It will feature glow art from all of our kiddos thanks to the hard work going on in Ms. Kahmann’s class!  Please reach out via Facebook or camdenstationpto@gmail.com if interested!  We rely on our volunteers to help with these events!
